I experienced burnout the other day to the point of wanting to just give up. I have submitted more than 200 articles to publications, and I have been accepted a grand total of 5 times out of all that! I love writing, but financially rewarding for all the toil, it is NOT. My Young Adult novel, What Happened at Soaring High Dance Academy? God Happened. is in the process of trying to find a traditional publisher through an agent. I am working with Lynne Heinzmann, stellar lady, lynneheinzmann.com and she is helping me send in my queries to agents. We shall see! In the meantime, I keep working Front of House at the theatre, because it is quite nice to get a paycheck every time you work. To all writers out there, I’m keeping on, but lately I’m struggling! We all have to encourage each other to continue, on those despairing days!
